The Strikelight 2 and Bolt 2 feature a “hero” style, layered unboxing experience which full protects the product. This is combined with a graphic design that pairs perfectly with the visuals of the product so that nothing feels out of place.

 

The objective for this project was to create an improved unboxing experience for the release of Axon’s product upgrades of the Strikelight 2 and Bolt 2. This included creating a more premium experience both on the shelf and during unboxing, all while also keeping costs low and protecting the product.

Unboxing: Simple sleeve and telescoping carton with EPE foam cushioning. This gives immediate access to the product, however important documentation is buried and not likely to be read. Graphics design on sleeve and box don’t seem pair well with the foam cushioning which feels out of place for a higher end product.
